Zu Pivot is designed specifically for compact music sources such as the iPod, small headphone amps, DAT and miniature pro audio recording and playback equipment.
Quick features include silver alloy conductors in a concentric lay with virtually no cross-talk between channels, low capacitance, 100% high magnitude RF shielding and hermetically sealed (potted) termination. Pivot, like our Xaus tonearm cable, features Gore®-quad two channel cable geometry with the addition of an overall high conductance shield. This architecture yields the following unique benefits:
Shared dielectric space which prevents channel A from seeing a different space than channel B. This safeguards against induced differential noise. Yeah, this is a super quiet cable and you do not have to worry about RF problems.
Read more...Reduction of Cp measures by up to 40% compared to coax with similar conductance / inductance measures. This benefits the user by allowing a longer run of cable than is ordinarily possible without resulting in decreased bandwidth, conductance and RF noise resistance. Foot for foot, the Pivot is the best performing, best measuring two-channel mini cable.
Pivot also features identical TFEP white insulation on every circuit to insure identical character. Color coding does allow for faster and easier production, and is essential for nontechnical labor, but even the die or pigment used in the insulator will influence sound, and using wire marks on the insulation does degrade sonic performance.
Also available in a mini to mini termination and 90-degree miniphone. The 90˚ miniphone connector is a more compact and solid connection with your iPod, or other device, if your player is in and out of your pocket a lot.
